19/07/2010 - GLA Group Responsible Procurement Awards

Are you a supplier to the GLA group and have delivered something special as a result of implementing the Mayor’s responsible procurement agenda?

Are you proud of your achievements and would like to share them with others? 

If so you might be interested in the first GLA group Responsible Procurement Awards, which will be held at London’s Living Room, City Hall on 6th December 2010.

This inaugural event will recognise the contributions that both suppliers to the GLA group and GLA group staff make in using procurement to deliver social and environmental benefits for London.

Award Categories

There will be separate awards for the following aspects of Responsible Procurement:

  • Environmental Sustainability
  • Ethical Sourcing
  • Equal Life Chances For All
  • Supplier Diversity
  • Skills and Employment
  • Community Benefits

There will also be an award for Outstanding Contribution to Responsible Procurement presented to one member of staff and one large and small supplier.

If you would like to submit an application in any of the above categories the application process will open on September 6th for one month.
