Harrow Council is working in partnership with West London Business to launch a new initiative called Gateway Asia which aims to support small to medium sized enterprises (SME's) who wish to trade with the emerging markets of India and China.
The programme aims to strengthen international competitiveness, raise awareness of international trade and improve knowledge of international markets. The workshops will cover such topics as: winning business in China/India, funding international trading, Customs, Excise & Duty and the Indian Film Industry.
10 workshop titles have been devised so far and will take place over a 2 year period from January 2010 - October 2011. The workshops are provided free of charge to all *SME's in the West and South London sub-regions and some events may be held in local venues in Harrow.
(*Please note that the term SME applies to companies employing less than 250 employees with a turnover of up to £40 million.)
If you are interested in taking part in these events, please e-mail: Ash Verma ash@gatewaybusinessconsultants.com to ensure that your company is included on the database and mailing list for this initiative.
